Rounding off my Japan trip hiking around Karuizawa, a mountain town about an hour away from Tokyo by the Shinkansen.

It’s a lovely place to visit if you’re a nature lover. It’s home to many parks and beautiful mountain vistas (and also an active volcano, but more on that later. :) ) Pictured here is Shiraito Waterfall. The water does not actually flow down a river, but emerges from underground to cascade over the rocks! – LHL (Photo by me)
