Our #wine sale in London on 14 December is brimming with festive treats and a fantastic line-up of stellar Bordeaux, including Mouton Rothschild 2000. In 1945 the Château commissioned a leading contemporary artist to create an artwork specially for the label, an annual tradition that has been broken only once, for the 2000 vintage, when the late Baroness Philippine de Rothschild chose an enamelled illustration of the Augsburg Ram, a 16th-century ram-shaped silver-gilt drinking vessel and the Mouton emblem, to replace the traditional label. #SothebysWine
