Like most of the war-torn areas of Colombia, in a recent referendum Toribio voted to accept a peace treaty that was negotiated between the FARC peasant guerrilla army and the Colombian state. Yet, on a national level a narrow majority of voters rejected the peace treaty, leaving the coutnry in a strange limbo. Hopefully there will be quick resolution to this impasse and that art will replace bullet holes on the walls of rural Colombia. | Mural por Bastardilla.
