BC never ceases to amaze me with its large vistas, diversity and density of life. This province is home to the world’s largest intact temperate rainforest which supports a full suite of predator-prey relationships. I find the fact that large carnivores can be hunted for sport and trophy disturbing especially when the majority of British Columbians oppose this hunt. More importantly, coastal First Nations vehemently oppose the large carnivore trophy hunt of grizzly bears. What else is required to be done to protect the last frontier of intact temperate ecosystems? With @Cristina Mittermeier and @sea_legacy.
