Every year, I look for a good venue to record the National Day Message. For our Golden Jubilee last year, I did it at the historic Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall.

This year’s location is Punggol SAFRA. There, you can see and experience the Singapore that we are building together in the next 50 years - the Punggol Waterway, the new HDB homes, and the young families strolling or exercising along the park connector.
Even with the rain coming, Punggol town and the Waterway are still pretty.
The message will be broadcast tomorrow Monday, 8 August. Tune in to the following channels for the different languages:

English at 6:45pm on Channel NewsAsia
Malay at 8.30pm on Suria
Chinese at 8.45pm on Channel 8
Tamil at 9pm on Vasantham.

All four versions will be shared on the PMO YouTube channel after their telecast on the various channels (i.e. from 7pm onwards). Do tune in! – LHL (Photo by me)
