Back in control of my own Instagram account. :) On the way to the State Dinner, which capped off my official visit to the US. Was grateful for the gracious, warm reception from President and Michelle Obama throughout my visit. Beyond the pomp and circumstance, we are happy most of all to celebrate 50 years of close diplomatic ties with the US.
We are partners in many areas - defence, trade, R&D, education. We continually explore ways to do more together. Most importantly, our people-to-people ties are strong. So it was fitting that we are marking 50 years with a scholarship for our students to study in each other’s countries.
