Paying my respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery yesterday. The cemetery is the final resting place for many American military men and women who have displayed valour and patriotism. We honour their sacrifice and courage, which has helped stabilise and promote progress in our region.
Also had good meetings with Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, Defence Secretary Ashton Carter and Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker. Their portfolios - economy, defence and trade - are all pillars of our strong ties with the United States.
