On weekends, Marianne Fezza, third from left, fills a giant cocktail glass with several gallons of frozen strawberry daiquiri, and distributes long straws to her neighbors for a group sipping session. Marianne, 55, has been a member at the Silver Gull Beach Club for a decade. And that makes her a newbie at this oceanfront summer colony near the western tip of the Rockaway Peninsula in Queens, where members like to say they will die with sandy feet in their cabanas.
