The hands and feet of Maggie Nichols (@マギー・ニコルズ) as she competed on the uneven bars at the U.S. Olympic women’s gymnastics trials. Tears were shed by both gymnasts who made the team and those, like Maggie, who did not. Those emotions were no surprise in a sport that takes a lifetime’s worth of work and sacrifice.
