In the U.S., rugby has long been overshadowed by football. But a former bond trader is working to bring it back to the mainstream. His “rugby dream” — the aspiration to start a professional rugby league in a place where the sport’s fan base that would barely register as an @NFL rounding error — took over his life. PRO Rugby (@pro_rugby_north_america) now has clubs in Denver, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Diego and Obetz, Ohio. The league’s inaugural season began in April.
