Two "simple" exercise that are totally useless if you don't perform them correctly. Exercise 1: Bent Over Row -notice how flat my back is. Keeping a flat back will help you successfully engage the muscles. I'm squeezing my shoulder blades together and keeping my chest over my toes to ensure my back is flat. Exercise 2: Tricep Dip - I see this exercise done incorrectly way too often. Keep your spine straight and close to the bench. If you let your hips move out and away from the bench you strain your shoulders. Keep your elbows pointing back as much as possible. To make this tricep dip a little easier put your feet on the ground. The more you bend your knee and the closer your feet are to you the easier it will be.
