These coasters were a door gift at UOB’s 80th anniversary celebrations last night. They feature intricate drawings by Glenn Phua, the artist I met at the @purpleparadesg two weeks ago.
UOB first started out in 1935, as the United Chinese Bank in the Bonham Building (left coaster). This building was eventually demolished to make way for UOB Plaza (right coaster). UOB’s success story unfolded against the backdrop of Singapore’s SG50 journey. Today, UOB is among the strongest and safest financial institutions in the world.
