“It was a temporary idea,” says @U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr., about the cover of the band’s latest record, “Songs of Innocence,” which features the typically private musician shirtless clutching his 18-year-old son Aaron Elvis. “But people really liked the shot. Is it unusual for me? Yeah. But what was really striking about it, apart from the photograph itself, is the effect that it had on me. I looked at it and noticed the arms around each other. It’s a very proud moment.”
