A little throwback picture from last year. After having my two children I didn't feel like deserved to wear a bikini on the beach or show my body in public. I have stretch marks on my stomach, hips and thighs and lived in baggy jumpers, high neck tops and jeans. Practical, sensible, safe and hidden away. When I found myself on my own at 25 for being 'boring' and 'too responsible' and 'too young to have a family' it struck a chord inside me and I thought who is it I'm I hiding myself from? Surely nobody notices me anyway, so if I want to buy a dress or wear heels will others really judge me? And then I realised life isn't about people you don't know, it's about yourself and I bought the bikini, I wore my favourite perfume and I went out and met new people and I haven't stopped having the time of my life ever since.
