Enjoyed a lively 7th Moon Appreciation Dinner last night for CDWF (Community Development and Welfare Fund) donors and volunteers from Ang Mo Kio GRC and Sengkang West.
CDWFs provide welfare assistance to needy residents and students, and support community programmes. I am grateful to the 7th Moon groups for their generous donations, and to CDWF committee members for their good work.
Of course, no 7th Moon event would be complete without an auction. Last night’s auction of three special wood carvings of calligraphy raised $65,000. Huat ah! – LHL (MCI Photo by Terence Tan)
