Instagram followers value their opinions because they showcase Motives. The tutorials and pictures they post and cross promote give us an incredible outreach not just domestically but internationally as well. It has been growing organically from the very first post. You can’t force it. 80% is about engagement, sharing relevant information with your followers. The other 20 % is about sharing product information. It’s not just about selling. My husband likes to say I’ve turned selfies into sales and technically he’s right but it evolved naturally which is what any brand would want to happen. We went from a thousand followers to a million in just one year. And now after the one year mark we’re at 1.8 million followers. It is just incredible.” ________________________________________Q: What strategies do you use to attract new Instagram followers and keep them engaged? A: “I’ll do product giveaways to social media beauty influencers and bloggers. And we post what we want to attract on our social media channels. We also created videos of Motives Ambush Makeovers as another tool to show women on Instagram how to change up a look using our products. Think about it. Through video you can show women how to go from ordinary to extraordinary just using make up. Every woman should experience that wow feeling of confidence when they look in the mirror with a before and after. ”
