We want women to be empowered not intimidated when using our products. So when they see women posting photos and/or videos using specific products they feel confident about trying a new Motives product. For decades women have purchased the wrong make up product that promised one thing but didn’t deliver. Women feel defeated and they won’t go back to a brand when that happens. Now they see 1.8 million followers on Instagram and the looks themselves so they aren’t afraid to invest money in a product. They are now armed with information about the products. Less room for error. It takes guts to take risks especially with your outward appearance so if we can show them how to duplicate a look or make it their own, why wouldn’t we do it? I want them to know we care.” The brand and the consumer need to be a part of the social media world for what I call the “social-economic factor”. Brand owners need to know what is working for their customer base and consumers need to have as much knowledge as possible about the brand. At the end of the day the brand needs to build financially and the customer needs to feel like they are getting return on their investment. ” ________________________________________Q: What strategies do you use to attract new Instagram followers and keep them engaged?
