This original battlefield road brought men and supplies to the battlefield at Tête-de-Faux. A violent battle was fought here during Christmas, 1914.

It is a beautiful area to visit with fine dining, superb locally grown wines, and great hiking in a clean alpine environment and welcoming local people.
