Happy birthday, #MorganFreeman! "This goes down as one my all-time favorite experiences: We photographed Morgan Freeman at his Delta Blues club in Mississippi. I made a few portraits at the club — and of course tagged my son's name on the wall — then we moved out to a private airport to photograph Freeman with his private jet, which he pilots. I had a thought to photograph Freeman standing on the wing of the plane. When I mentioned it, he looked at me cockeyed, so I asked him to trust me. Once atop the wing he must have liked the view and he recited that famous line from Bruce Almighty: 'I AM God.' We had our cover shot. As if that weren't enough, Freeman invited us to dinner with his friends, capping an amazing nine-hour day. Now that doesn't happen every day in Hollywood."
