French Muslim women say constant talk about banning veils has made them targets of abuse. After @ニューヨーク・タイムズ reported on the struggles they face as a result of prejudices and laws restricting the wearing of veils, more than 1,000 readers shared their opinions on this sensitive and divisive subject. To some, a Muslim head scarf represents patriarchal oppression in a backward society. To others, it symbolizes modesty, identity and respect for a higher being. @kostyukov took this photo last week in #Paris.
