Najulah is wheelchair-bound, so getting around can be inconvenient. Our public transport system is handicap-friendly, but it is not always easy to find wheelchair-friendly paths to places. So Najulah and his friends developed an app, Happy Wheel, which lets users upload and share convenient paths for wheelchair users.
Their app idea won the People's Choice award at the Transport and Youth Hackathon. The Land Transport Authority invited teams of young coders to tap on their datasets, to create apps to improve the commuting experience.
