Happy人日(ren ri), everybody! Today is the seventh day of the lunar calendar - also known as “Man’s Birthday”. Many Chinese Singaporeans celebrate it by tossing and eating yusheng with friends and family.
I joined former PAP MPs for yusheng yesterday. I had invited them to lunch earlier, but had to ask DPM Teo to host it for me due to my surgery. Was glad I could drop in and catch up with them briefly. Many of them served for many years and continue contributing to the community.
