In 1961, Magnum's Dennis Stock photographed a School for Santas in New York City, where men of Volunteers of America would go to learn how to dress, walk and talk like Santa Claus. In order to be a "bona fide" Santa Claus, you had to be a graduate of the volunteers' school. Here's a frame from the project: An army of Santas lined up in front of their volunteer center in Manhattan, ready to hit the streets. Merry Christmas from Magnum.
