Antarctica is the last untouched continent. A treaty protects it until 2041, but it’s already beginning to show the effects of climate change. Its glaciers are melting, and the Western Antarctic Shelf is disintegrating into the sea. Polar explorer Robert Swan is the first person to have trekked both the North and South poles.
