First things first: there's nothing wrong, as a man, with sitting down to pee. A brief reprieve from life beyond the cubicle? Sounds OK to me.
Mind you, that doesn't mean seated urination is a popular move among men; quite the opposite, in fact. Until recently, we didn't have the data to quantify quite how unpopular, but thanks to a landmark piece of research, you'll be relieved to hear we now do.
Germany is by far the market leader when it comes to men sitting down to pee; 40 percent sit every single time, while only 10 percent "never" give their weary legs a break while taking a leak. In the US, 10 percent of men sit every time, 13 percent sit often, and 23 percent sit sometimes.
