How I pick my breakfast at the restaurant:

remember, good breakfast with protein and fat set you up for less cravings and more energy throughout the day.

✅ avoid sugar, granola, smoothie bowls and juices even though they are called protein they often have more carbs and sugar than protein

✅ when I order an omelette, I asked to be fried using coconut oil or butter, and try to avoid seed oils like canola or soybean oil (aka what most restaurants use)

✅ I tried to have my yolk intact to keep all the nutrients so poached eggs are definitely the move

✅ we’re very sensitive to Glucose spikes in the morning so avoiding bread, or at least having more fiber before hand.
