Meet Ludivine Griveau, Manager of the Hospices de Beaune wine estate. She takes us through the first few steps of winemaking in the domaine’s cuverie in the Burgundy region, just after this year’s harvest for the 163rd edition of the world’s oldest and most renowned charity wine auction.

Taking place on 19 November (the third Sunday in November, as is tradition) at the Halle de Beaune, the sale will present a total of 51 different cuvées produced from vineyards across the Hospices’ 60-hectare holdings. Taking part in this historic auction offers the opportunity not only to purchase superb Burgundy wines en primeur, but also to contribute to one of the world’s truly historic charitable institutions. In keeping with its founding values, all proceeds from the annual sale continue to support the upkeep of the Hospices de Civil de Beaune’s hospitals. More details to come.
