To those who wondered if I stopped deadlifting, finally an update worth sharing.

Took a new job in June which required me to spend half my time in HK in a hotel room. Hotel had a so-so gym with no olympic setup. Not being able to DL for 2 weeks was not fun.

Work became more demanding, no way to prep meals for 2 weeks of the month. When my diet is mostly chicken rice or Salad Stop while in HK my colleagues thought I am a bit psycho.

Later I found a gym opposite my hotel and got back to it. However I was flip flopping my training time between evening in HK and mornings in SG (long commute to office) and nothing was ideal.

But deep down I know there will be progress. Because part of it is science. If you keep training hard and eating well, it will happen. It may take longer but the #strengthtraining journey is a lifestyle, not a race.

Coach said we can test 90 x 1 from the floor next week and I can’t wait!!
