There is a strict ethic of no chalk, no cams (only knotted rope and slings) and climbing only ground up. This makes for extremely exciting climbing, because as you go higher you get more run out, which leads to greater consequences, more build up of sweat on the hands and therefore harder climbing in an ever increasing dangerous situation, it’s a vicious cycle 😅 However, we do keep returning, and that’s because the cracks are splitter and technical, plus the locals are welcoming and friendly (and love sandbagging us😉) It’s a great community out there. So we must say thanks once again to Adam for inviting us, the AO team for the help in producing the video, and of course the Czech locals for keeping us on our toes. A Czech climber once told us “we go to the pub after climbing not to celebrate the day of good climbing, but instead to celebrate we are still alive”.
