Photos by @mattmoyerphoto // I am honored to share work from my recent National Geographic Explorer grant project funded by @insidenatgeo documenting the role of the Nile in Egyptian life and the looming water scarcity crisis. Egypt gets 97% of its water from the Nile and as the nation’s population balloons and temperatures increase due to climate change, Egypt could run out of water as soon as 2025.
