Tom Derry is the good-hearted connection between wild fish and the activists striving to protect them. A lifelong angler and the director of wild steelhead funding for the Native Fish Society, Tom embodies the inspiration, energy and commitment behind countless conservation efforts all with a single goal: more wild fish.

Filmed along British Columbia’s majestic Babine River, this intimate, heartfelt film captures the essence of fly fishing for wild steelhead and provides an insight into what motivates a motivator. “Everyone should care about something,” Tom says. “When you connect with an animal or an issue, it becomes part of who you are.”
