Kushida Shrine Station - A New Station Born Right in the Center of Hakata!🚃✨
Fukuoka City Subway’s Nanakuma Line is a subway that connects Fukuoka's downtown area, Tenjin-minami, with the residential area in the southwestern part of the city.
The new section of the rail line from Tenjin-minami to Hakata opened on March 27, with Kushida Shrine Station located between the two.🎉
Kushida Shrine Station is located near the Nakasu district, one of Kyushu's busiest downtown areas. It is dotted with popular spots, such as Kushida Shrine and Canal City Hakata, a large commercial facility.😊✨
The station building houses an exhibition space for traditional crafts from Fukuoka, such as Hakata-ori textiles and Hakata dolls. It is a space where you can feel the history and culture of Hakata.
