The hardest goodbye... 🥹❤️

I'm in tears looking at this. The night before I gave birth saying goodbye to Alfie knowing the next time I saw him everything would be different.

It wouldn't be just me and him anymore.

My perfect baby boy.

Knowing that next time he saw me things would never be the same.

So many mixed emotions.

Excited to watch him become a big brother.

Grateful to be a family of 4.

But sad that it would no longer be just us.

I wanted to freeze time.

We'd only be apart for 24 hours but how much life would change forever.

To the boy who made me a mum.

Who taught me so much.

And not just about motherhood. About myself.

Who doubled the size of my heart.

Who changed my world.

The day before our new adventure was about to begin... 🤸‍♀️💘

I can't wait to update you on the last few weeks. It's been SO nice to fully switch off and just live in the moment. To get to be a new mum out of lockdown. But I've missed you all and I'm excited to be back soon. 🙏❤️
