Beautiful @khousesrilanka on the south coast of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 where we have been staying for the past week. A spectacular and private beach side residence. Such sublime surroundings and the perfect place for me to sit and focus on writing my new book.

Many of you have messaged me asking about the situation in Sri Lanka, did I have hesitations coming? Is it safe? I’m not going to tell you to come if you have doubts, the UK doesn’t recommend non essential travel even now. Fuel, and getting hold of it is still a problem for many Sri Lankans, but the situation is better than a few months ago. Do I feel any threat to my safety? Not in the slightest. The hospitality and kindness of Sri Lankans hasn’t changed one bit from my last visit in 2018. I can’t wait to come back again. It’s tough times but you will still have a fantastic experience here
