Ilana Wilesさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Ilana WilesInstagram)「There is a lot of focus on whether our kids will keep up with their academics this year, but not nearly enough (in my opinion) on what will happen to our kids socially and emotionally. For anyone looking for more ways to provide social-emotional support, I highly recommend checking out the new “Take Care with Peanuts” partnership between Peanuts and GoNoodle. They are coming out with monthly videos and downloadable lessons which draw on themes like wellness, community, and environmental engagement, to motivate kids to be good global citizens. We did the first activity last week which is Charlie Brown’s Caring Tree, all about finding ways to take care of each other. We discussed all different acts of caring, set up a tree (you can use the printable tree provided or get creative) and then my kids filled out a heart and hung it on the tree whenever they did something caring throughout the week. We talked about things we have done in the past, but Mazzy and Harlow were both adamant that we only put hearts up for new acts. First act of caring that went up on the tree? Complimenting Mommy. Thanks, guys. Go to the link in my bio to watch the video, read more about our experience with the Peanuts curriculum, and download the Caring Tree worksheet to do with your kids. It’s the perfect activity for Valentine’s Day this weekend!」2月13日 0時58分 - mommyshorts
