Woven into the scene are figures in pursuit of a deer through a leafy woodland, surrounded on all sides by a sumptuous floral border. You can also see the demi-god Triton in the lower left and right corners, blowing a twisted conch shell and clutching a bag filled to the brim with pieces of coral and chains of golden jewels.
