Heck will share how Botticelli and the innovations of the Renaissance influence his own work, a multimedia practice of painting, photography, music and more. It is said he is a man who ‘paints with his camera’. Endowed with stillness and shot in profile, this portrait, captured in 2017, is at once timeless and futuristic, interweaving classical portraiture, Impressionism and Pop Art to create a dreamlike image saturated with colour.
