As mentioned yesterday, a few of the big-wave brigade, including @jamie_mitcho, @kai_lenny, @ian.walsh and @lucaschumbo (pictured above) took the redeye from Hawaii to Maverick’s to chase the same swell they’d just surfed on Oahu/Maui. It’s not Day of Days material out there right now -- foggy, drizzly, high tide -- but there are some bombs. Stay tuned to the site/app as the day progresses — and as the swell fills into SoCal.
