Changing what I saw and thought of as normal was a huge part of my transformation. It’s been over a year since I started publicly talking about body image issues, but it was years and years of slowly changing my inner dialogue and pressing mute on my self loathing that really allowed for a shift. It's a constant work in progress, but happy to report it’s been the most liberating experience of my life. And now when I see this picture, I only see me procrastinating pandemic parenting. It's amazing what a little self love can do.
