When discussing which dress would be the best for this particular shoot, I was told by the organiser that Nicola had recently had a baby and preferred to wear something comfortable. All Indiebride dresses are comfortable, but I knew Lucinda dress would make her forget she's wearing a wedding dress so she could feel less self-conscious on the shoot day and concentrate on the important stuff. That's something we all want from our clothes right? Nicola was super happy with my dress choice:⁠ ⁠ "When Katie from @thevintagehousethatcould asked if I would be part of a 70’s themed wedding shoot, I initially said no as I’d only had an emergency c-section 8 weeks earlier and so still looked pregnant and really didn’t feel myself. But I trust Katie and knew any shoot she’d be involved in would be great so didn’t want to miss out. I was nervous when I arrived at the shoot as I had no idea what the dress would be like but when they brought it over I immediately felt relieved - and we all started purring over how gorgeous it was. When I put it on I felt great, better than great, for the first time since having my son! In fact I didn’t want to take it off at the end of the day... And what a bonus that I could breastfeed Cassius in between shots!"⁠ ⁠ Lucinda dress is beautiful and has been worn by several pregnant brides as it has an elasticated waist and the style-line runs under your bust, rather than on your waist.
