From January 1st 2021 most of our dresses will be lined with rPet satin instead of silk. According to the Ocean Legacy Foundation over 220 million tons of plastic are produced each year. Over 6.5 million tons of it ends up in the world's beautiful oceans every year. 6.5 million tons. 80% of that is because of humans. Half of this 6.5 million ton plastic waste is long-lasting plastic that will drift around for hundreds of years before degrading.⁠ ⁠ It is our responsibility to tackle this problem and that’s why Indiebride London will join the fight against pollution. Our new, 100% recycled, rPet satin lining is made of this plastic polluting nature. RPet satin feels divine against your skin, drapes beautifully and has a nice weight to it. ⁠ ⁠ This also means that most of our dresses are now vegan!
