I have been thinking about this dress a lot as I recognised I was not completely happy with it and wanted to improve it somehow. Yesterday I finally had some extra time to do it. I decided to change the shape of the neckline into a V and add a lace trimming on it. With those ruffle sleeves it's good to show a bit more skin and the front looks more interesting with a lower cut neckline. Swipe left to see the result and let me know what you think! I do this type of alterations quite often when a bride wants to add a personal touch to her dress. I really enjoy doing alterations and seeing different versions of our dresses! Black Friday.

To me, it symbolises overconsumption which I see as one of the biggest problems the humankind has created. Even though wedding dress is not something people buy only because it was a bargain, my brand will always rebel against excess consumerism and pursue sustainability. I thought today is the perfect day to share an example of the craftsmanship that goes into making our dresses to emphasize the contrast between mass produced dresses and individually handmade dresses.

I made this new style a while ago. The lace of the top and the peace silk of the skirt are both made in England. It was used in a lovely photo shoot and has been hanging in the showroom for brides to try on. I have been thinking about this dress a lot as I recognised I was not completely happy with it and wanted to improve it somehow. Yesterday I finally had some extra time to do it.
