I look at the girl I once was compared to the woman that I am now and realise that I’m STILL awful at doing makeup, still just finger comb my hair when I jump out of the shower and still rock gym and sportswear 99.9% of the time - occasionally slipping into a cocktail dress and heels for a dash of debauchery! Whilst my life has changed absolutely immeasurably over the past seven years, I am still very much me, my morals, beliefs and values have never shaken nor been silenced and I’m really rather proud of that. I hope in another 7yrs time I’ll be just as content and at ease in myself to live consistently, sustainably and wholeheartedly as myself in a changing world of social norms dictated entirely by an unhealthy and unhappy greedy society.
