2020 mental health awareness week is here and it’s time we talk about it. 2020 has been a very lonely, challenging year for most. The pandemic has required all to limit human contact and become distant. I know I haven’t felt like myself, without Morgan and without travel it’s been down right tough. I find myself mentally down for longer periods than usual. It’s given me greater sympathy for those people suffering from depression and other mental illnesses. It’s not always something you can simply “snap out of”. Sure exercise, journaling and meditation all help with “feeling good” but some conditions require more. Never be ashamed to ask for that help. You’re never alone.
