Photo by @joshuacogan / Badger-Two Medicine is located on the east side of Glacier National Park where it meets the Blackfeet Nation lands. This land is sacred to the Blackfeet Nation and home to the creation story of its people. After years of threats from oil and gas developments, a U.S. district court agreed with the U.S. Department of the Interior's choice to cancel all oil and gas leases held by private companies on the land. The Blackfeet Nation is now seeking permanent protection from Congress for these sacred lands.
