It has changed the landscape of swimming forever, and being part of the inaugural season last year was one of the highlights of my career. . In making this decision, I took many things into consideration, including: travel risks; loss of training for the 2 week quarantine period upon return to Aus; and potential disruption to Olympic preparation. . Over the past few months I have learned how integral racing is - not only for training purposes, but also for motivation and my physical and psychological well-being . . I want to be clear: I did not make this decision lightly. I miss traveling. I miss racing. I miss my @isl_londonroar teammates. I want to be involved in the ISL for many years to come. However, particularly as an athsma sufferer, I do not feel like I can risk my health in the lead into my 4th Olympics. . I look forward to watching the League and cheering for my @isl_londonroar teammates from Australia. And I can't wait to put on a suit and start racing again sometime in the future. .
