Photo by @mridulaamin A purple sunset appears over Hong Kong’s skyline. It was well worth the questionable trek involving a bit of bouldering and fence-hopping when this scene came into view. Hong Kong holds the record for the most skyscrapers in the world. Much of the skyline’s architecture is influenced by the ancient Chinese practice of feng shui to encourage good luck. Developers can spend millions on consultants to organize where to place passageways and holes in the buildings to let energies flow in the optimal way. The Hong Kong government even pays out compensation to complainants who argue new developments disrupt their good feng shui.
