Photos by @michaelclarkphoto Stars shine through the aspen forest canopy just off Last Dollar Road near Telluride, Colorado. This is what happens when you get a little whacky with light painting at 2 a.m. I always love the view of the sky looking straight up through a canopy of aspens, and I have photographed that view often, as have many others. Here I was trying to do something different. I captured this image both with the stars as pinpoint lights in the sky (as in the first image) and also as streaks using a long exposure. I'm not sure which one is better. To light the center part of the image, I used a small headlamp. #aspens #underthestars #colorado #lastdollarroad #batman
