National Geographic Travelさんのインスタグラム写真 - (National Geographic TravelInstagram)「Photo by @amivitale Before sunrise, wild horses drink water from the Danube where it meets the Black Sea in Romania. This was one of my favorite moments on our journey following the Danube in honor of legendary photographer Inge Morath for Danube Revisited: The Inge Morath Truck Project. The project was a photographic road trip along the Danube and a traveling exhibition of the work of the renowned Magnum photographer. The exhibition of her work from the Danube made its way back along the river, accompanied by eight female photographers to promote the power and potential of photography through night projections, artist talks, photo forums, and engaging in cultural exchange along the route. A core motivation for all of us was to support the underrepresented female voice in documentary photography. We created a project that is for women, by women, and in the legacy of a pioneering woman. In line with this vision, Danube Revisited offered female photographers in the Danube region special exhibition and publishing opportunities as a part of the project.
