Photo by @Sofia_Jaramillo5 The evening sun casts shadows on the Lost River Range in Idaho. The mountain range runs southeast for 75 miles (120 kilometers) from the community of Challis to Arco. The range is named after the nearby Big and Little Lost Rivers. Instead of flowing into a larger river or body of water, both rivers vanish into the Snake River Plain, a phenomenon that gives them their names.
